The Glacier 51 Toothfish is caught a staggering 2,550 miles southwest of mainland Australia at one of the most inhospitable islands in the world – Heard Island. On the southern tip of this spectacular geographical feature, the breathtaking Glacier 51 (Fifty One Glacier) pours into the surrounding treacherous waters creating the ideal environment for the highly prized Toothfish, who patrol the underwater volcanic crevices 2,000 meters below sea level.
The properties of Glacier 51 Toothfish are quite unique. The skin is black and the flesh is snow white with no pin bones. The delicious, rich, and creamy flesh has great culinary versatility. This is high in omega-3, sustainable, and with characteristics like no other fish.
